The Big Sky slate is in full swing now and the picks are getting tougher by the week – except for this week, where we both picked all of the games the same. Doesn’t look like anybody will gain any blood on this week’s picks.
Cal-Poly (-17) at Weber State (Friday night-8pm)
FRITZ: Andre Broadus and the Poly defense by 20.
OSKIE: Weber needs to get a win one of these weeks but Poly has the machine rolling and should win handily.
Sacramento State at Southern Utah (-10)
FRITZ: Sorenson shreds the Sacramento defense. Thunderbirds win.
OSKIE: This will be a good one. Gotta go with the home team – SUU very tough in Cedar City.
Montana (-16) at Northern Colorado
FRITZ: An angry Grizzly team rebounds to beat the Bears at Nottingham Field.
OSKIE: Montana will control the clock and get out of Greeley with a closer than expected win.
Montana State (-9) at UC-Davis
FRITZ: Bobcats with another road victory in a 3 point game.
OSKIE: Davis seems to be playing pretty good ball. Montana State will win this game but it should go down to the wire.
Idaho State at Portland State (-17)
FRITZ: Vikings by 7.
OSKIE: Portland State has to win sometime, especially since they fired their D-coordinator after the UND loss. Seemed to work wonders for Nigel Burton…..
North Dakota at Eastern Washington (-10)
See preview.
Northern Arizona – Bye
Updated Records: Oskie 35-12 – Fritz 34-13.
