Former 2001 UND linebacker great Travis O’Neel’s teammates will be selling UND Football garments for the scholarship endowment in his name again this weekend during homecoming. They will have a table setup and located near the Champions Club tent on the south end of the Alerus and will be selling men’s and women’s UND Football Under Armour 1/4 zip long sleeve mocks.
All indications are the scholarship endowment has been a huge success so far. In approximately 15 months, they have raised almost $110,000 through donations, pledges and cash in hand. These annual clothing merchandise sales help supplement the endowment.
This year’s recipient of the Travis O’Neel Memorial Scholarship was Menomonie, WI sophomore wide receiver Luke Stanley.
