UND will not be holding a recruiting weekend tomorrow. They are currently at 21 commits and we believe they just added one more PWO commit to make 22. Signing Day is Wednesday, December 19th.
Luke Herzog, 6’2″-200, of St. Thomas Academy in MN has recently committed to UND. We project Herzog as an OLB cut out of the Tanner Palmborg mold. A bit smaller than others but athletic and a playmaker off the edge.
Sources down in Dinkytown tell us that transfer RB Dominik London will be deciding soon where he is heading. London will be a sophomore next season if he transfers down a level. (UPDATE: LONDON HAS COMMITTED TO UND) UND is in need of another high-end RB after losing John Santiago and Brady Oliveira to graduation. Currently, UND has junior James Johannesson, senior Teddy Sherva, and freshman Otis Weah on the roster.
We must also remember that this is the early signing period, meaning they can also sign players in February to this same class via the late signing period. It’s inevitable that quality players will pop up in January.
We noticed something interesting on the UND HR page. They are now listing an opening for a Assistant Football Coach Linebacker/Video Coordinator position. That position is currently held by Carl Reinholz.
