A few Sioux football recruits placed this weekend at the state track meet in Bismarck, ND.  RB/WR recruit Jake Miller helped contribute 24 points to Class A state champion Bismarck High’s team total by placing 2nd in the 400, 3rd in the 800 and placing 1st on the 1600 meter relay team.

Also placing in the Class A state track meet was Alex Hickell, OLB recruit from Grand Forks Red River.  Hickell finished 4th in the triple jump and 11.5 inches behind the eventual state champ.  Not bad for a recruit projected to bulk up and play OLB at UND.

Baylee Carr finished 5th in the 100 meter finals in the Class B Boys.  The Hazen native finished 0.37 seconds off the pace of the state champion.  He was also a member of the 2nd place 4×200 relay team. Carr is expected to start out at either RB or DB at UND this fall.
