UND Football alumni will participate in the 7th annual Football Letterwinners Golf Scramble at The Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN on Monday, July 26th.  Shotgun start will be at 11 am.  A Sunday night social precedes the golf event.  Approximately 125-150 alums play in the event each year.  The UND Football Staff also joins in and participates.  President Kelly and AD Brian Faison will also be present for the event and will speak at the dinner following the golf outing.

Rumors

The course is owned and operated by former UND Football player Robert "Tip" Enebak, who lettered at UND from 1960-1962 and was named All-NCC as a guard on the offensive line in 1962.  As many of you may know, Tip hosts many different philanthropic and fundraising events throughout the year at his course.  Funds raised during the golf event will go towards scholarships.

The event as it’s known today started in 2004 and was the brainchild of former UND Foundation and Fighting Sioux Club employee Rob Bollinger, who was the creator of the original "Siouxper Swings" that were planned at courses around the region.  Bollinger also served as Associate AD at UND in 2005.  He now serves as Executive Director for University Advancement at the Foundation for Bemidji State University and has been a major force in fundraising for the newly built hockey arena that is due to open this fall.  The UND hockey team will be playing in the 1st ever game there on October 15th.
