UND held their second recruiting weekend and it produced another verbal commitment.  OL Ryan Tobin of Muskego, WI gave UND his pledge on Saturday after being offered.

Rumors

Tobin is commitment #14 to the Class of 2016.

Tobin, 6’5″-280, plays for Muskego High School, who went 10-2 this past season in the powerhouse Classic 8 conference.  He helped pave the way for a powerful Muskego offense that averaged 300+ yards rushing per game and had 46 rushing TD’s.  The Warriors are coached by Ken Krause.

On tape, Tobin show very impressive upper body strength while using his arms to reach defenders and throw them to the ground.  He is definitely an aggressive offensive lineman, which Coach Luke Knauf has shown he wants.  The UND offensive line began to show some nasty this past year and Tobin appears to fit that mold.  Tobin is also a standout baseball player for the Warriors.

Former commit Jake Hartford has decided to give his verbal to SDSU now.

We heard UND had eight visitors this past weekend, with three of them already being committed (Pinke, Secrest, Canady).  Expecting to hear more in the verbal commitment department sometime this week based on their being five more visitors we haven’t heard from.  Jaxson Turner and Raymond Haas are two we are keeping tabs on.
