This year’s running back group could easily be labeled as “by committee”.
The Hawks return three players that got significant carries along with FCS graduate transfer Tyler Hoosman (UNI).
Sophomore Isaiah Smith (52-356-2 TD), senior Luke Skokna (35-221-1 TD), and freshman Gavin Ziebarth (16-116) all will combine with Hoosman to give UND a unique look in the backfield.
Hoosman could be defined as the bigger running back but all will be available for all packages. UND will certainly rotate them consistently to prevent major wear and tear.
