It’s always nice to keep an eye on how the 2010 opponents are faring so far this season. Here is a rundown on UND 2010 opponents so far:
- Idaho: Plays at Louisiana Tech this week. At 3-2, Idaho has to be disappointed with the Colorado St. loss. That is a game they should have won, but were beaten on a last second FG as time expired. They are facing an absolutely brutal 4 week stretch in November when they host Nevada and Boise St in back-to-back weeks, then travel to Utah St. and Fresno St. This stretch will determine whether they get back to a bowl game.
W – vs UND 45-0
L – @ Nebraska 17-38
W – vs UNLV 30-7
L – @ Colorado St 34-36
W – @ Western Michigan 33-13 - Northern Illinois: Hosts Buffalo this week. Since escaping with a narrow win against the Sioux, NIU has played very good football and was close to having 2 Big Ten victories on their resume after beating the gophers and losing a close game to Illinois. This team should no doubt end up in a bowl game.
