Heading into the final week of the Big Sky season, nothing has been decided in the season long SFI pick’ems. We are both sitting at 57-20 on the season. Separation Saturday coming up.
Eastern Washington at Portland State
Fritz: I’d like to go upset here, but I just can’t. EWU wins by 10 in a closer game than expected.
Oskie: EWU needs this game for a top seed and home field. They beat the slumping Vikings by 17.
Montana State at Montana
Fritz: Home field and the rivalry factor will definitely mean something in this civil war. I think this is a close game pulled out in the end by the Bobcats. MSU by 1 point.
Oskie: The Brawl could be a one-sided affair this year. I know that it’s a rivalry but after witnessing both teams, there really is no comparison. Cats by 14.
Sacramento State at UC-Davis
Fritz: I’m taking Sac St. on the road in this one by 4. A Hornets win will make the playoff selection committee think long and hard about them and their resume’.
Oskie: Another long-standing rivalry. The Aggies will send HC Bob Biggs into retirement with a win over the Hornets.
Weber State at Idaho State
Fritz: This Bengal Defense is absolutely horrid. Weber wins by 7 in Pocatello.
Oskie: A last place battle royale going on at Holt Arena. Going with the “upset” and taking the Bengals to get off the schneid.
Cal-Poly at Northern Arizona
Fritz: Tough call here. I’ll take home field and the Lumberjacks by a FG.
Oskie: NAU has had an awfully easy schedule this year and to their credit they have won the games they should have. Poly is a different animal. Poly by 6.
