Word out of the Twin Cities area is that UND has received another verbal commitment for the 2011 class.  It is the 4th known commitment so far.

Jameer Jackson is a 6-3, 215 pound WR from Osseo, MN and is the most recognizable name and most decorated verbal commitment thus far in the 2011 class.  He was 1st team all-state as a junior in 2009 when he caught a jaw-dropping 86 passes for 1,1,39 yards and 15 TDs.  He was 1st team all-metro as a junior in 2009 and senior in 2010.  He was also on the Star Tribune’s 2010 Preseason Dream Team.  Jackson is a big, physical receiver who has potential to be a possession and big-play threat.  Jameer made his commitment after his recent visit on campus last weekend.

UND definitely is getting bigger at the WR position with 6’2″ Casey Young and now 6’3″ Jameer Jackson.

Still trying to confirm a 5th verbal commitment.  We’ll keep you updated.

EDIT:  Osseo Head Football Coach Derrin Lamker has also confirmed that Jackson has verballed to UND.
