Why wouldn’t UND get three more commitments on Tuesday. I mean, they only had 16 coming into the day.
In what has been an extremely unique recruiting season, Coach Bubba Schweigert and staff just pushed their commitment total to 19 and it’s only July 25th.
OL Colin Lavell of Legend High School in Parker, CO pulled the trigger after looking into a few options out west but ultimately deciding on taking the offer from DC Eric Schmidt, who recruits the Denver area. At 6’4″-290, Lavelle could play any spot along the offensive line. He is the 5th OL commit in this class but may be the most polished – good technique.
Proud to announce that I have committed to the University of North Dakota!! Thank you to all of the coaches and my parents for allowing me to get to this point in my life!! @SixZeroStrength @CoachKnauf pic.twitter.com/496JyRXxpj

In-state product Kaden Wolsky of Carrington, ND also committed on Tuesday. Wolsky, 6’0″-190, is project to be an linebacker for UND. He is the reigning Class B 182 pound state wrestling champion in North Dakota. Those skills definitely relate to the field as Wolsky is a quick, aggressive ILB for the Cardinals. Obviously, a pretty tough kid.
The decision is made.. UND Fighting Hawks here we come!! Thank you @BubbaSchweigert @UndCoachSchmidt @CoachReinholz @CoachPaulRudy for giving me the opportunity to be apart of the team pic.twitter.com/X5da33jR9o

Right when we thought we were done for the night yet another in-state product announced his commitment to UND – EJ Langstaff, 6’5″-230, of West Fargo High School. Langstaff is projected as an offensive lineman. Another tall, lean body that moves pretty well – put some size on him and see what happens. Langstaff is the 5th North Dakota player to commit to UND in this class.
I'm excited to have received my first Division 1 offer from the University of North Dakota, and I'm even more excited to say that I'll be continuing my academic and football career at UND! Thanks to @UndCoachSchmidt and @BubbaSchweigert for giving me this opportunity #TakeFl19ht pic.twitter.com/CFoApK3lI6
