Two former Sioux standouts participated at NDSU’s Pro Day today.  Ross Cochran and Ty Boyle both went through the testing down at the Fargodome along with 6 other area prospects.  Boyle would project as a defensive tackle in either  3-4 or 4-3 scheme and Cochran would be an outside linebacker, like he was at UND.  Cochran has ideal size and speed to be able to come off the edge and also drop into coverage.  Hopefully both get a shot a being a free agent signee and can show what they’ve got at the initial rookie camp.  The hardest part is getting there.  The specifics of the testing day were detailed on fightingsioux.com.
