A few things we have come across but didn’t put in our last post:
Apparently, Juco signee Milhomme Jean-Charles is on campus at UND and has been at practice for awhile now. He was supposed to join the team for fall camp but is not on the roster meaning he is not eligible to play this fall. However, this does tell us he must be joining the team, after the season possibly. That is usually how those things work.
Week Two opponent Idaho also opens the season on Thursday night. They play host to Bowling Green in a non-conference opener. The Vandals are listed as 7.5 point favorites.
The Sioux are practicing in the Alerus Center all week to get used to the “magic carpet”. The out-dated surface is slated to be replaced next summer. The Alerus Center will be transitioning to a field turf, much like the Sioux practice on at Memorial Stadium.
