-   We are hearing good things about Shea Walker and how he progressed at the Center position.  His body size is more suited for Center (6’2 – 305) and at the very least he will provide depth at center behind starter Ian McGurran.

-   With the addition of Milhomme Jean-Charles of Wahpeton Science, which we think will be announced soon, the DL is looking good for next fall.  They will need a few young guys to step up and if they do it will be the strength of the defense.

-   If we had to guess we would say the QB situation will be Joey Bradley as the #1 and Chris Comes as the #2 entering fall camp.

-  This is the time of the year where FBS transfers rumors start to appear.  These should apply to UND more now that they are 1 year away from the end of the transition.   We will pass on anything we hear.

-   Apparently, the new turf at the Alerus is being put off until 2012 due to budget issues.  Not a huge surprise, but they had 10 years to get it figured out and now they need 1 more?

-   We have not heard of any major defections from the football team.  There is a week left of school but usually there are some rumblings by now.   We are sure there will be the usual walk-ons who don’t make the team due to roster limitations, however.  This is a good sign.

-   The coaches have been out spring recruiting in North Dakota and Northwestern Minnesota.  Local high school coaches have said these kids are potential FCS recruits from the area:

Joe Mollberg (QB) – Detroit Lakes, MN (Already offered)
