UND Football appeared to have a successful recruiting weekend, going 3 for 3 on the recruits that were visiting but had not yet committed.  The following players committed this past weekend:

Thunder Lake Lodge

1.  Tim Dulin – WR – Livonia Churchill HS (Michigan).

2.  Tyus Carter – CB – Cherry Creek HS (Colorado).

3.  Tanner Palmborg – LB – Princeton HS (Minnesota)

Dulin is a prototypical tall WR (6’3″) that this program desperately needs.  He has long arms and will hopefully be the jump-ball guy for UND over the next 4 years.

Carter is an aggressive cornerback and was a big commit for UND.  They didn’t have a corner committed yet and to get one with his pedigree and ability is huge.  He played for 5A state champion Cherry Creek.  Getting kids that are used to winning and have the right mentality is a must for the UND football program.

Palmborg is a big bodied LB who played mostly safety in high school.  However, we see him transitioning to one of the linebacker positions.  He will be a preferred walk-on, which actually doesn’t mean much considering they often become full-time contributors.

—Being OL Austin Smith never signed with UND at Xmas break, we are assuming he did not qualify or something along those lines, therefore, is not a part of this class.
