The Sioux football team has added two more players to the class of 2011. Athletes Dwayne Brown and Chris Brown have both officially signed their letters of intent and will be joining the team this fall. The Sioux recruited both of them during the normal recruiting season but waited until now to officially offer. Being they added these two late is telling us their may be a loss or two from the original list we saw on national signing day. We don’t know for sure but it seems it could be a possibility. Teams usually do not sit on money throughout spring and summer.
Dwayne Brown – Fontana Kaiser High School: Brown, 5′-8″ 160, is a 2-star recruit who could play either corner or wide receiver for the Sioux. His highlights show very good athleticism and definite play making ability. We don’t know a whole lot about Brown other than his older brother plays for USC.Â

Chris Brown - Culver City High School: Chris Brown, 5′-9″ 170, is also a 2-star recruit out of the golden state. He projects as a corner or wide receiver for the Sioux.  He is a very similar type player to Dwayne Brown so the Sioux have added depth at the skill positions.

It is obvious to us that UND was looking to get more athletic and add depth at the same time. With both of these players being 2-star athletes it shows how many players there are around the country, especially out west, who get overlooked. There just aren’t many football playing colleges out west when compared to the east and southeast parts of the country. We would expect both of them to redshirt this coming fall.
