UND garnered their first three commitments to the Class of 2018.  Not surprisingly, the commitments came after UND held their first of two Elite Camps last Thursday.

Rain Slater – 6’4″-310 – St. Johns High School in Winnipeg, MB.  Slater is very athletic for his size, showing good footwork and burst on his film.  He projects as a guard in college but like all UND lineman he will need to know two positions.

C.J. Siegel – 6’0″-170 – Lacrosse High School in Lacrosse, WI.  Siegel is projected as a cornerback in college but could easily play wide receiver.  Has extremely quick cuts and change of direction.  Good length at 6′-0″ for a corner, as well.  Can never have too many corners.

Kadon Kauppinen – 6’2″-180 – Sun Prairie High School in Sun Prairie, WI.  Kaupinnen is the typical long, lean safety that UND has been trying to recruit the last few years.  He has the ability to match up well with taller wide receivers and even tight ends.
