UND Football recently received their fifth commitment to the Class of 2015 and their second from the state of Minnesota in defensive end Carl Engwall. Engwall comes from a very good program at Lakeville North High School, which is off to a 3-0 start in 2014 and have only given up 20 points in their first three games.
Engwall is the type of defensive end that UND needs more of. Tall, rangy and athletic to go along with a frame that can easily put on another 25 pounds and still retain his quickness off the ball. Engwall shows very good feet and explosiveness on tape. Has a quick get-off at the snap. He also plays basketball for the reigning Minnesota State Champion Panthers.
